Printable Copywork Worksheets

How to use them

1. Print the worksheet. Each PDF is US Letter, with the model text printed above handwriting rows (a solid headline, dashed midline, and baseline).
2. Read it aloud first. Talk about any unfamiliar word, capital, or punctuation mark before the pencil touches the page.
3. Copy slowly and exactly. Charlotte Mason asked for a few perfect lines rather than a page of careless ones. Stop when attention fades and pick up tomorrow.
4. Then type it. Each worksheet has a matching online version, so a child can copy the same passage by hand and at the keyboard, one line at a time.

Every text is in the public domain (see sources & copyright), and the worksheets are free to print for your own family or co-op.
